FibreMan was a unique project for AutoSOFT. In this case a large fibre-optic network design database existed but the software needed to manipulate this data was no longer available. On a very tight timeline an application was developed to match the existing data structure and allow adding/editing of housings and fibre sheaths. The final application also includes automatic fibre routing, splicing, payload mapping, load balancing, etc. FibreMan is a stand-alone client application sharing a central database. Since it's inception FibreMan has continued to grow and is now deployed nationally throughout Rogers Cable.

  ALTS was designed for the engineering office faced with the task of sending/receiving Autocad drawings to/from multiple other contractors. One of the issues when working with a large number of other contractors is that each will define their own preferred layer structure in their Autocad drawings. A company forced to manage this varied set of formats will find this quickly becomes a tedious task for their staff. ALTS is capable of converting these varied layer formats to or from your preferred format.

  Each unique vendor's layer structure is entered into ALTS (or can be extracted from a sample drawing) and saved along with your in house standards. When receiving drawings (single or a large batch) ALTS will translate their layers (colour, linetype, name, etc.) from the contractors standard to yours. ALTS can also translate drawings from your inhouse format back to any of the defined formats for drawings being sent out of the office.
